Description

The Isle of Skye is a study in contrast with quiet serene beaches giving way to jagged mountain tops and this Talisker ode to it is no less complex. Rather mild mannered for an island scotch, Talisker Skye’s smoky notes are very restrained with its coastal influence coming to the front accented by honey toasted oak, the sweetness of apple turnovers and lite citrus notes giving it a full well rounded body. There is a slight pepper spiciness to its rather dry finish but not to the point of being poignant.
