Named after one of Peter’s favourite musical works, ‘Eight Songs for a Mad King’, this is a wine of genuine depth and character. Deep crimson with purple hues, revealing aromas of satsuma plum, blueberry and dusty cedar. The palate is all about texture and mouthfeel — rich ripe plums, dark chocolate and a pure, long, savoury finish. Matured for 18 months in 40% new French oak hogsheads.
