The eponymous inventor of this bitter is Antoine Amedie Peychaud, a pharmacist from Santo Domingo who settled in New Orleans in 1795.
Today, Peychaud’s Aromatic Cocktail Bitter is produced according to the original recipe by the Buffalo Trace Distillery.
